Berkeley school board to appeal use permit for Harold Way downtown high-rise

The Berkeley Unified School District Board voted 6-1 this week, with Josh Daniels voting no, to appeal a Sept. 30 decision by the Zoning Adjustments Board granting a use permit for an 18-story mixed-use project with 302 apartments and ground-floor commercial space at 2211 Harold Way.
